Notice of Cancellation and Certified Statement of Results

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the North Central Fire Protection District, Elbert County, Colorado, that at the close of business on the sixty-third day before the election, there were not more candidates for director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; therefore, the election to be held on May 6, 2025 is hereby canceled pursuant to C.R.S. § 1-13.5-513(6).

Notice is hereby given that an election will be held on the 6th day of May, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m. At that time, three (3) Directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms. Eligible electors of the North Central Fire Protection District interested in serving on the Board of Directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance form from the District Designated Election Official.
